Web platform and iOS applications for an exclusive private club of luxury and classic automobile collectors. A long-running project spanning multiple design iterations, with member authentication, gated content, high-end photography-driven UI, and NFC-based physical access integrated into native iOS apps.
An ongoing project that has evolved significantly over the years — both in design and technical scope. The platform grew from a public-facing membership site into a full digital ecosystem covering a web platform, member-gated content, and several native iOS applications sharing the same backend services. One of the consistent challenges throughout has been achieving a premium visual experience: smooth animations, careful typography, and a design language built around high-quality automotive photography.
Built with Next.js and backed by MongoDB, the site handles public content alongside a private members area with fine-grained access control. Authorization layers are enforced at the API level — member sessions resolve only the content and galleries they're entitled to. The flows engine manages membership-specific journeys: access requests, event registration, and gated content delivery.
The site has gone through several design overhauls since launch, each pushing further in terms of visual quality. A core constraint across all versions has been building smooth, performant animations that work alongside large, high-resolution photography — balancing visual impact with load performance and interaction fluidity.
Several native iOS apps were developed to extend the membership experience beyond the web. These share authentication and data with the backend APIs, giving members mobile access to private galleries, events, and messaging. A notable feature is NFC-based physical access: members can use their devices to access club locations and facilities, with the app handling tag reading, identity verification, and access authorization in real time.
